Simon was honoured to be invi
ted to give a lecture at the Smith and Nephew lunchtime instability session at the Fortius International Sports Injury Concerence – FISIC ’15. His presentation focussed on the keyhole treatment of shoulder dislocations in rugby players
This was a superb event with delegates and speakers from the world of Elite sport with a majorĀ focus on professional rugby.
Surgeons, physios, S&C coaches and radiologists had the opportunity to discuss innovations, investigations and management of shoulder and elbow disorders.
It was fascinating to hear the different approaches to game tactics, training, injuries, and rehab in the upper limb from teams such as the All Blacks and other professional teams.
